Hi Mr Priyadarshana,

Please see my set up configaration

  • Core i3 - 8th Gen
  • Sapphire RX570 8GB card
  • Asus Z370-P

My motherboard has two PCI Express sockets. Graphic card was plugged on the upper PCI-E socket and it has been properly functioning for years. All of a sudden, my monitor started showing that it is not receiving signals. Then tried lower PCI E socket and then problem was resolved. Now monitor shows images as usual. I then plugged sound card for upper PCI-E socket and it is properly functioning.

My machine is on Windows 11 and the OS and other peripheral drivers are fully updated with latest versions. BIOS also on latest version as per ASUS site.

I love to know what is the reason for this issue. I have a reasonable fear that this would happen to lower socket also one day.

Thank you in advance

Suranga Egodagamage

(Mr Priyadarshan must be remembering this system as it was the first build he did in his channel.)
